This popular children's series by Texas author Rooster Morris features Axle Galench and his adventures on the Planet Mizmoe.

Axle Galench (pronouced g'lench) was forced to leave his home in Kamoo and is now wandering through the jungles of Bedlam looking for a reading teacher. You see, Axle must learn to read the Book of Equate but it is written in a language he has never seen before.

While on his quest, he meets Flobberjaw, Grueloc, the Splinkerjets, and Flitterninny. Each of these creatures adds to the excitement of the stories but can any of them actually help Axle?

Kids are saying "Axle is like Harry Potter without the magic!" Teachers are using the books in the classroom with the curriculum and audio books to teach with literature.
